About This Site

This site is run as a WordPress blog utilizing the Vistered Little 1.6 Theme. I love this theme because of the glass-like interface with drag and drop “wallpaper” support for multiple user selectable “skins.” Go on, click one of the tiles under the main header. Isn’t that sweet? :) You can download this theme for your own use from the WordPress Theme Viewer.

About Me

Gail Bremner

Me, me, me . . . I’m just the typical product of an upper middle class childhood spent in the suburbs. Any slight variations from the pattern are probably due to the fact I’m a first generation American (parents are from Scotland) and my family is a little crazier than most. I have an older sister and a twin sister, and a 3 year old nephew who is the most important thing in my life. My parents are cardiologists, but my dad died in the fall of 2002. He was my best friend and hero, still is. I’ve been in a long-term relationship for over 10 years with a man who usually lives across the continent, but we do our best to see each other whenever we can. It’s hard but I love him. I have two degrees in English Literature, a BA from Loyola University Chicago and an MA from King’s College London, and I’m currently working towards a teaching certificate in secondary education at Mount Mary College in Milwaukee. Blah, blah, blah . . .

About You

Who would bother to read this blog? It’s pretty boring and often has long periods of stasis . . . Leave me a note to let me know how you found this site, why you’re here, or just to say hello . . . It will probably freak me out, but in a good way. :) If you prefer to contact me privately, you can use my contact form.
