Pushy

I need to be more pushy. I am far to accomodating to others, I think. I have to begin demanding things, and stop waiting for people to return my calls. I need to get paid. And, I need to meet with my cooperating teachers for my student teaching this fall. It’s not like they’re ignoring me — I know that this is the busiest time of year for them — but I’m not being proactive enough by calling more or even just going to the schools. Remember the good days when your parents took care of stuff for you? Well, not mine, but ahhh, it’s nice to dream. :)

I know exactly what you mean Gail. It’s time for girls like us to become a little more assertive, and get all that’s owing to us, be it money, or just a simple answer to a question. Good luck to you, and if all fails, you could always get some goons to go collect your fees owed to you! ;-)
