At 7:30 this morning, I did something I have never done before and thought I never could. Yay me. And since no one was around to congratulate me, I figured I’d do it myself.

One of the great regrets of my life is that far too often I’ve been up with the sun, or before . . . The only time it’s really been worth it was when my dad had to drop me at school early, and I’d sit in the cafeteria and swallow my social awkwardness enough to be wrapped in the joy of having friends, and they were actually glad to see me, too . . . I miss you guys.
